Silva Septanian

Silva was born in Iran and raised in a warm Armenian family, where she enjoyed a fun and memorable childhood. From a young age, she loved working with numbers and she graduated high school with a focus on mathematics but soon realized her true passion was in finance and accounting. This led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Accountancy in Iran.

During her university years, Silva gained hands-on experience by working at an accounting firm, starting as an entry-level accountant and advancing to the role of accounting supervisor over six years.

In November 2007, she moved to the United States with her husband to start a new chapter in life. A year later, she went back to school, taking accounting courses at community colleges to expand her expertise. At the same time, she worked at a CPA firm for six years, where she discovered her love for taxation. Her dedication and passion for the field led her to achieve a CPA license in early 2024.

Silva joined Miller Ward Aziz in February 2025.

Outside of work, Silva stays busy as a proud mom to her son and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, creating a fun and supportive home with the help of her husband. She also values her close friendships, many of which have lasted since childhood. In her free time, she loves reading psychological books, learning about different cultures and religions, and always feels energetic and happy while exploring new ways to learn and grow.
