BARBARA J. WILSON

Just after graduating from UCLA, she was hired to run a Rock N’ Roll touring Bus company for a time, moved to Nashville, to run a Rock N’ Roll Hotel and restaurant affiliated with the Bus Company.

After returning to Los Angeles, she was able to pursue her love of music and singing as she performed professionally in a small ensemble, that performed at renowned venues across the country and in Japan. While off the road, Barbara began to work part time for Brian Dooley, CPA who specialized in international tax and trust work. Seeing Barbara’s potential, Brian encouraged her to become a CPA. Barbara passed all four parts of the rigorous CPA exam in her first sitting accomplished by a small percentage who take the exams, and worked for Michael Miller and Jerry Ward to complete her hours for her credentials. For many years post, the three shared office space and resources and remained friends and associates.

Blending her business acumen and music background was clearly the right path as Barbara developed a successful career as a business manager and tax consultant, specializing in music, creative artists and small businesses both from the US and other countries.

Barbara has also partnered in small businesses over the years, which brings a unique perspective to the small business client. Barbara is an avid world traveler and loves to document through photography.
